The Simple Woman’s Daybook for April 25, 2016

For Today
Outside my window…it was another beautiful day, if not quite as sunny.
I am thinking…about Festina Lente (make haste slowly), an educational principle that is dear to my heart, though I don’t always put it into practice as I should.
I am thankful…for a husband who takes all the kids sometimes so I can get a break.
I am wearing…tee and jeans
I am creating…my AO weekly checklists for the next term, which I should have done last week…
I am wondering…if I can get caught up on The Betrothed this week.
I am reading…way too much. I started Kim by Rudyard Kipling today, and foolishly got another intriguing book from the library.

I am hoping…to get some lettuce planted soon.
I am learning…still hanging out in the English Civil War, and it’s not pretty…
In my garden…blossoms and blooms!
In my kitchen…Chinese takeout tonight 😉
In the school room…we finally finished Much Ado About Nothing during Morning Time today!
Quote for today…hopefully I’ll have one Wednesday…
A peek into one of my days…

One of my favorite things…Morning Time outside – even if it was a bit rough today. 🙂
Post Script
Food for thought and action: The 7 Minute Rule – although I think the principle behind the “rule” is what really matters.
