Looking out my window…earlier today…

I am thinking…3-year-olds who refuse to nap AND eat supper aren’t in the best mood by bedtime. ๐Ÿ˜›
I am thankful…for a break week next week.
One of my favorite things…seeing my bigger kids playing with the little kids – lots of giggles this morning. ๐Ÿ™‚

I am creating…hmm…
I am wearing…blue shirt and khaki pants
I am reading…A Praying Life – need to finish it!
I am hoping…D is better soon. He has an skin infection on his knee which the doctor said might be MRSA – don’t know how he got it. ๐Ÿ™
I am learning…how to give high school grades – sigh.
In my kitchen…science experiments! (And supper, too. ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

In the school room…art class was cancelled last Wednesday, so we broke out the pastels and tried a couple of the tutorials in the Fall Chalk Pastels ebook.

In my garden…there was one lonely rose yesterday

“The waiting that is the essence of faith provides the context for relationship. Faith and relationship are interwoven in dance. Everyone talks now about how prayer is relationship, but often what people mean is having warm fuzzies with God. Nothing wrong with warm fuzzies, but relationships are far richer and more complex.” Paul E Miller,ย A Praying Life
A moment from my day…he has so much fun just stuffing leaves and sticks down through the deck slats and knothole – unfortunately he’s dropped other things down there as well, like his toothbrush. :/
