The Simple Woman’s Daybook for January 18, 2016

For Today…
Outside my window…it’s very cold.
I am thinking…it’s hard to think when you’ve got a stuffed up head. Sinus infection, I think. 🙁
I am thankful…for a warm house.
I am wearing…a shirt, sweater and skirt.
I am creating...trying a new weekly layout in my bullet journal.
I am going…nowhere today, anyway.
I am wondering…if I can blog more this week…
I am reading…too many books! And there are so many others I want to read! Sigh. I did finish a couple last week, though.
I am hoping…to get caught up on my should-be-reading books soon.
I am learning…about James I.
In my garden…a bit of snow – hoping for more snow and less cold so the kids can get outside.
In my kitchen…maybe spaghetti tonight.
In the homeschool room…we read about Martin Luther King Jr. today during Morning Time.
A favorite quote for today…“When you have reached your own room, be kind to those who have chosen different doors and to those who are still in the hall. If they are wrong they need your prayers all the more; and if they are your enemies, then you are under orders to pray for them. That is one of the rules common to the whole house. C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity (one of the AO 8 books I’m reading)
A peek into one of my days…from last week, when we had more snow.

One of my favorite things…seeing the kids enjoy the snow. 🙂

    • Yeah, I’m feeling a bit better, just rather blue. Might not say much, but then again, that’s nothing new. 😉
