Just sharing a brief quote today which I’ve been pondering, from Tim Keller’s The Songs of Jesus:
Which we are doing when we sing those beautiful Christmas carols – and psalms and hymns – from our hearts. 🙂
Also read/listened to recently:
- Hubby: finished Gulliver’s Travels – both he and Miss A really disliked it 😛
- Me: reading The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson to the kids
- Miss A: listening to Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens, because her dad wants to watch it with her 🙂
- Mr. D: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne
- Mr. E: Minn of the Mississippi by Holling is his geography book this year
- Little L: he asked me to read The Big Picture Story Bible to him again
- Little R: I recently realized that our edition of Richard Scarry’s What Do People Do All Day was severely abridged, so we have a new copy that both L & R have been enjoying.
- Family: Once again this year, we are listening to and enjoying Dickens’ A Christmas Carol in the car – even the 3-year-old is into it! 😀
