31 Days of Tackling the To-Do List: Computer Area Organization

We had to temporarily move the computer when the new flooring was installed, so I took the opportunity to clean up the mess and put some of the stuff that was just piled on the shelf in boxes. The basket holds headphones for math and French lessons (I’m trying to keep other things out of it.) It has stayed much neater so far…

We also replaced the little shelf that was holding the printer with this filing cabinet that was serving as a sort-of end table in the living room.

It’s just something we bought at Walmart years ago, and it hasn’t been used to file anything for a long time. The top will be used for household records when hubby can help me get them organized (he’s done a good bit of sorting already). Last night I went through the plastic bin we had been stuffing owners’ manuals in, got rid of those we no longer needed, and filed the rest by room or area. I used hanging folders we had sitting around, but I need to find some tabs to label them.

And yes, that crack on the wall is something else we need to get to. 😉

I switched out the drawer pulls to brighten it up a bit. I found a bunch of them on Ebay, and Miss A is going to use some on the dresser she is repainting – but that’s another post. 🙂
