I love the look of floor-length drapes – guess it’s my English ancestry or something. 😉 They can be pricey, especially the lined ones, but I have had great success finding new or gently used ones on Ebay. The set I recently bought for the living room were lined, made in the USA and had no fading. They also came with four valences which I am planning to re-purpose as pillow covers. I bought them before deciding on the paint color, so I could make sure they would work together. Here’s a couple of photos (I’m still trying to decide whether I like that chair there or not – furniture arranging is not my forte). Now to make those pillow covers and put the rest of the pictures back on the wall…
