31 Days of Tackling the To-Do List: Towel Organization

Towel hanging space in the kids’ bathroom has been limited to a single rack over the toilet, which of course was not enough. I tried some adhesive hooks on the wall, but they didn’t stick. I also considered putting a couple on the back of the door, but never got to it (and it wouldn’t have been enough anyway). Last year, we installed coat hooks in the entry way because our small closet couldn’t handle the volume of stuff, especially in the winter. It’s been working well, so when I came across the idea of using coat hooks for towels in the bathroom, I bought the same kind in white. It’s kind of one of those “Duh, why didn’t I think of that before” things, but so great for a small bathroom used by several people.

And yes, this photo was staged. 😉 We’re still working on the habit of hanging the towel on the hook instead of leaving it on the floor or putting it in the laundry basket after only one use.
