Handmade Dishcloths

I was given a couple of crocheted dishcloths by my cousin at Christmas, and found them so much superior to store-bought ones that I wanted to learn to make my own, and perhaps teach the kids. I decided to knit rather than crochet (I did a bit of both as girl), found a good online tutorial, and bought the supplies. Miss A was convinced to give it a try (she had done a bit of knitting already with my sister), but so far the older boys are not interested (and I’m not about to insist they try at this point). I got started myself, and then helped Miss A start. She finished hers and has done two more, and my first is still only half done! But handmade cloths work so well for both wiping down counters and messy little faces that I’m hoping to make several more between the two of us. 🙂

  1. Awesome! I can crochet but knitting is too ambidextrous for me. I have some hand made ones and you're right, they're so much nicer.
