For Today
Looking out my window…it may rain before I’m done this, but currently I’m sitting outside.
I am creating…hmm…a blog post?
I am wearing…comfy clothes!
I am listening to…Bono’s new memoir, Surrender. Some of the language and anecdotes are off-color, but it’s interesting despite the fact that I didn’t listen to U2 until I read about them in 75 Masterpieces Every Christian Should Know last year.
I am hoping…to have a restful week. 😉
I am learning…about Christian friendship.
In my kitchen…wedding leftovers (City Barbeque).
In the school room…some of the boys are doing a bit, but nothing with the youngest.

Love (2) by George HerbertImmortal Heat, O let thy greater flameAttract the lesser to it: let those fires,Which shall consume the world, first make it tame; And kindle in our hearts such true desires,As may consume our lusts, and make thee way. Then shall our hearts pant thee; then shall our brainAll her invention on thine Altar lay,And there in hymns send back thy fire again:Our eyes shall see thee, which before saw dust:Dust blown by wit, till that they both were blind:Thou shalt recover all thy goods in kind,Who wert disseisèd by usurping lust:All knees shall bow to thee; all wits shall rise,And praise him who did make and mend our eyes.
Thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures, Anna! Aria is a beautiful bride and her dress is so lovely. The cake is beautiful, too! May God bless their marriage always.
Thank you, Trish! 🙂
