Tomorrow, my husband and I celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, and I’m feeling a bit sentimental 😉 – and also very grateful for my wonderful husband. 🙂 I thought this quote, from Shakespeare’s Henry V (which I read a few weeks ago), appropriate for the occasion.
I found this photo on Unsplash (my favorite place for free stock photos) and it’s a perfect fit for the quote!
Also read in the past week:
- Hubby: The Glory of Heaven by John MacArthur – almost done.
- Me: The Art of Teaching by Gilbert Highet – I got an old hardcover because I can’t stand the picture on the new paperback. 😛 Actually, I haven’t got much past the back cover, but that has already given me lots of food for thought! Wondering how it jives with Charlotte Mason’s idea that “Education is the science of relations” – maybe they are using “science” in different senses? I have a feeling they probably agree more than they disagree, but I guess I’ll have to read on and find out. 😉
- Miss A: A Hero for WondLa by Tony DiTerlizzi
- Mr. D: The Complete Peanuts, Vol. 3 by Charles Schultz
- Mr. E: Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll
- Little L: The Saggy Baggy Elephant by Kathryn Jackson
- Little R: Let’s Play by Hervé Tullet
Wednesdays with Words is hosted by ladydusk.
Oh, congratulations on your 15th wedding anniversary!! May God richly bless you both.
Thanks so much, Cindi! 🙂
